“Change Your Habits, Change Your Life” 16 Week Beyond Addiction Training – Toronto

January 8 – April 22, 2020

Join us at this 16 week training program (3 hours in class weekly) if you would like to cultivate healthy habits and overcome addictive behaviour.

Suitable for people in recovery, health practitioners, yoga teachers and anyone seeking positive change and guidance in their lives. The course includes 16 weeks of in-class curriculum and yoga instruction, online yoga videos and over 90 teaching clips from Dr. Gabor Maté for your home practice, a 500 page manual, and weekly small group support online.

You will learn to:

  • Use Kundalini Yoga and meditation to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit
  • Utilize yogic techniques to decrease cravings
  • Restore the nervous system, brain, frontal lobe and adrenal glands with yoga and naturopathic therapies
  • Access your spiritual centre and learn to rely on your Higher Self
  • Develop neutrality and clear subconscious patterns
  • Manage your reactions to people and events
  • Enhance communication and relationship skills
  • Make a healthy shift in perspective and attitude

Instructors

Nirmal Singh
Beyond Addiction Professional Trainer, Kundalini Yoga Lead Trainer

Nirmal Singh is a lead Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer, and mentors with Sat Dharam Kaur in her “Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery” training program. Nirmal has co-facilitated this program in Toronto, Owen Sound, Guelph and Peru, and teaches “Beyond Addiction Community Support Program” classes in Toronto. Nirmal owns and operates The Wellness Path which produces Kundalini Yoga related programs including sacred chant concerts, the White Tantric Yoga meditation course, Level One and Two Kundalini Yoga teacher training and retreats. Nirmal is a certified Life Coach and Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, focusing on clients who wish to change difficult habitual patterns, or gain insight and strength in their recovery from addictions or trauma.

Dharm Kaur
Beyond Addiction Instructor, Associate Trainer, Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Dharm Kaur (Ela Bielski) has been practicing Kundalini yoga since 1991. She was fortunate to meet Yogi Bhajan in 1997 while taking the Master’s Touch Teacher Training. Studying at the feet of the Master transformed her life. She is a KRI certified Level 2 Kundalini Yoga teacher and her teaching style is that of a Bhakti yogi – compassionately guiding students to connect with their Essence, their Highest Self. Her calling is to provide sacred Kundalini yoga teachings to those who need them the most. As she witnesses the positive impact kundalini yoga and the Beyond Addiction program have on her students, her heart opens and she feels enriched and fulfilled.

Maria Manjeet Adi Egervari
Beyond Addiction Associate Trainer, Naturopathic Doctor, Social Worker, Kundalini Yoga Instructor

Manjeet Adi trained as a medical doctor in Hungary and then graduated as a naturopathic doctor in Canada. She has vast experience working in the addiction field and is a Kundalini Yoga instructor. Her hobbies include cycling, rock-climbing, and walks in nature. She has been living and exploring the Beyond Addiction program since 2016.

Cancellation Policy & Travel

Requests to withdraw from the course must be received in writing. Those withdrawing by December 6, 2019 are eligible for a refund, minus a $300 + HST administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for those withdrawing after December 6, 2019. In the event the course is cancelled, all tuition funds will be re-imbursed. Please note, The Wellness Path will not be responsible for participant travel and accommodation costs incurred prior to December 6, 2019. Please contact Nirmal Singh before booking your travel.
