Treasures of the Creative Self

Meditation Workshop Series
with Dr. Gurucharan Singh Khalsa

In each of us the true self is priceless and holds many treasures. In these two workshops we will explore and experience the treasure of the Creative Self.

The Creative Self is a steady flow of authentic action and innovation that we bring to all the roles that we have to fulfill in our lives. When the Creative Self is strong, we are vibrant, clear and embrace each of our choices and roles; we never lose our heart and clarity. All of us become distracted, absorbed and confused at times. We need a strong inner compass to help us know where we are. Meditation gives us that.

There are seven stages of meditation and  seven “gems”. The practice of the stages develops the Creative Self. We will explore the fifth and sixth gems in these two evening workshops.

Workshop 1 – Saturday October 22nd

“The Sixth Gem of Graceful Enlightenment Beyond Polarities”

Life is nothing but a swirl of polarities and waves of constant change. In the midst of this, we fix on a goal or vision we want to attain and live. In order to steer our course to that destination, we must elevate our self above the polarities. This means the polarities of our own mind and the polarities around us. The sixth gem of the Creative Self is the ability to open your inner eye, see past the surface of things, and bring a graceful, steady enlightenment to your life. The meditation we will practice frees the energy that helps you master the polarities and strengthens your heart for a successful, meaningful life.

Workshop 2 – Friday October 28th

“The Fifth Gem of Elevation and Healing”

Every circumstance, task and person that we connect with forms an imprint and an entanglement with us. With a clear sense of our self and our heart, we can transform each entanglement to a connection that frees and heals. To bring our creative self to fruition and success, we need to elevate from within our own heart. With the insight of our intuition and with vitality, we need to act. The meditations we will practice, open and connect the heart and third eye. The capacity to heal ourselves is a natural part of this stage of meditation.

These workshops are part of the Treasures of the Self series in the stages of deep meditation by Gurucharan.
